Rev. Frank Szatmari is an ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church in Canada. He started his ministry in 1988. Since then, he has worked as a youth counsellor, mission coordinator, high school teacher, and marriage and family counsellor. Ferenc is specialized in pastoral counselling as well in psychotherapy.
He studied at Theological University of Cluj in Romania (1982-1988), University of Bern in Switzerland (1992-1993), Karolyi Gaspar Reformed University in Budapest in Hungary (1997-1999), Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario, (2002-2003), University of Guelph (2004) and Toronto School of Theology (2003-2013). Ferenc has a recognized Master of Divinity, Master of Theology, and Doctor of Psychology in Biblical Model. In 2018, he earned a Doctor of Ministry degree from Knox College, University of Toronto. After serving the Calvin Presbyterian Church in Delhi, Ontario, Ferenc was called to Calvin Presbyterian Church in Kitchener, starting his new mission on September 1, 2013. |

Michel Allard received his music training at the University of Toronto where he obtained Mus. Bac., M. Mus. and Bac. of Ed. degrees. He held numerous posts as organist and choir director while pursuing a music teaching career. He retired from teaching for the Peel Board in 2005 and has since been occupied in various music activities including presenting solo piano and chamber concerts, accompanying, composing, leading groups and church musician. He currently volunteers at the Westmount LTC facility in Kitchener, leads the Happy Harmonica Band at the Rockway Centre, provides music programming at the Trinity Village Adult Day Programme, presents "The Versatile Piano" series of piano concerts at the Rockway Centre and performs in the Dixie Doodle Band.

Margaret has a social service background with secretarial experience from working in local schools and businesses. She came to Calvin Church in 2008. She and her family have lived in Kitchener for many years. She is a member of Knox Presbyterian Church in Waterloo.. Margaret loves to travel, read, and do crafts. She leads the Calvin Stampers group that creates handmade cards for the Pastoral Care Committee.
Margaret provides administrative support to all the ministries of Calvin Church. If you need information about any of Calvin’s programs or would like to place an announcement in the bulletin, please contact Margaret. Her normal work hours are: 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Tuesday-Wednesday and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Thursday and Friday. She works from home on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and is in the church office on Thursdays and Fridays. |
