SERMON: You Are My Beloved

Jesus was baptized in the Jordan River by John the Baptist, one among many at that time despite being the only-begotten Son of the Lord. He participated in the one baptism of the holy Christian universal church, and is joined to us by the same Holy Spirit that descended like a dove. On this Sunday, we renew our baptismal vows and remember to praise the triune God that saved us.
