DAILY BREAD — Generosity Rooted in Trusting God’s Provision

ADVICE:
Though your riches increase, do not set your heart on them.
— Psalm 62:10

PROMISE:
The blessing of the Lord brings wealth, without painful toil for it.
— Proverbs 10:22

​PRAYER:
Keep falsehood and lies far from me; give me neither poverty nor riches, but give me only my daily bread. Otherwise, I may have too much and disown You and say, “Who is the Lord?” Or I may become poor and steal, and so dishonor the name of my God.
— Proverbs 30:8–9

Dear Heavenly Father,

Reignite the spirit of generosity within me, that I may share my blessings liberally with those who stand in need. May I recognize that in giving, I receive the abundant outpouring of Your grace. In the act of generosity, may I find the purpose and joy that transcends material wealth.
For the gift of generosity, I extend my heartfelt gratitude.

In Jesus’ mighty name I pray.
