DAILY BREAD — Honouring the Gift of Rest ADVICE: “Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy” — Exodus 20:8 PROMISE: “Blessed is the one who does this—the person who holds it fast, who keeps the Sabbath without desecrating it, and keeps their hands from doing any evil.” — Isaiah 56:2 PRAYER: My soul yearns, even faints, for the courts of the Lord; my heart and my flesh cry out for the living God. — Psalm 84:2 Heavenly Father,
It is so easy to become focused on my own needs, yet today I lift before You those whom I love. Bless those around me—(dear reader, insert the names of your loved ones)—and let them experience the depth of Your grace. Surround my children, friends, and family with Your steadfast protection and tender care. Lord Jesus Christ, You know the hearts and needs of those I hold dear. Bring healing where there is pain, comfort where there is sorrow, and strength where there is weakness. May each one encounter Your love in a personal and life-changing way. Holy Spirit, Guide the paths of my loved ones with divine wisdom and peace. Draw them ever closer to You, illuminating their steps and filling their hearts with faith and hope. Thank You for the precious people You have placed in my life—each a gift of Your goodness and love. In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. I wish you a blessed day, With Love, Rev. Frank
