DAILY BREAD — Renewed Gratitude in God’s Faithfulness

ADVICE:
If the Lord is God, follow Him.
— 1 Kings 18:21

PROMISE:
“Return, faithless people; I will cure you of backsliding.”
— Jeremiah 3:22a

“Yes, we will come to You, for You are the Lord our God.”

Heavenly Father,
Thank You for the precious gift of this new day.
As the sun rises, I am reminded of Your endless faithfulness and love.
Thank You for the beauty of creation that surrounds me--
for light, for life, and for every breath You grant.

Lord Jesus Christ,
You are the Light of the World.
Awaken my heart to Your presence in this day.
Even when I forget to give thanks, stir within me a song of gratitude
for the grace that sustains me and the hope that guides me.

Holy Spirit,
Fill me with joy and wonder at the simple blessings of life.
Let my thoughts, words, and actions reflect the praise my heart feels.
Renew my spirit so that I may walk through this day with peace and purpose.

For the gift of life, and for all that You have made, I give You thanks.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
