DAILY BREAD — Obedience and Hope ADVICE: And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God ask of you but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in obedience to him, to love him, to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul. — Deuteronomy 10:12 PROMISE: The Lord delights in those who fear Him, who put their hope in His unfailing love. — Psalm 147:11 PRAYER: Lord, what are human beings that You care for them, mere mortals that You think of them? — Psalm 144:3 Heavenly Father,
Today, I lift before You these twenty-four hours—this gift of life and grace. Teach me to walk through this day in harmony with others, according to the way Jesus taught us to live. “Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.” May these sacred words take root in my heart and become more than words—may they shape my actions and my spirit. Lord Jesus Christ, You are my Redeemer and my Example. Free my heart, and the hearts of those around me, from self-will, pride, and deceit. Cleanse our minds from self-centeredness, and guide us to choose what is right and good in Your eyes. Let my thoughts and choices reflect Your love, humility, and truth. Holy Spirit, In moments of confusion or doubt, be my Counselor and Companion. Breathe wisdom into my indecision and courage into my hesitation. Unite me with my brothers and sisters in faith, that together we may walk faithfully along Your path. Eternal God, I trust that Your love has already been proven through the cross of Christ—where my past, present, and future were redeemed. Through Your grace, I have been made alive, raised, and seated with Christ in the heavenly places, anointed and sustained by the Holy Spirit. For this divine truth and for Your steadfast love, I give You thanks and praise. In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. I wish you a blessed day. With love, Rev. Frank
