DAILY BREAD — Walking Honestly Before God

ADVICE:
Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Do you not realize that Christ Jesus is in you—unless, of course, you fail the test?

Each one should test their own actions. Then they can take pride in themselves alone, without comparing themselves to someone else.

Test me, Lord, and try me, examine my heart and my mind.

Heavenly Father,
As I awaken to this new day, I stand before You with an open heart. I do not know what this day will bring, but I trust in Your loving guidance. Prepare me, Lord, for whatever lies ahead.

Lord Jesus Christ,
If I am to stand, grant me the courage to stand bravely.
If I am to sit still, teach me to sit quietly in faith.
If I am to lie low, help me to do so with patience and humility.
And if I am to do nothing, let me do it with grace and peace, resting in Your will.

Holy Spirit,
Walk beside me through every moment of this day. Fill me with calm assurance and gentle strength. May my thoughts, words, and actions reflect Your presence within me.
I place this day in Your hands, trusting that Your purpose will unfold in love.
