DAILY BREAD — The Fruit of True Repentance ADVICE: Produce fruit in keeping with repentance. Matthew 3:8 PROMISE: I will be like the dew to Israel; he will blossom like a lily. Like a cedar of Lebanon he will send down his roots. Hosea 14:5 PRAYER: When I was overwhelmed by sins, You forgave my transgressions. You answer us with awesome and righteous deeds. Psalm 65:2-5 Dear Heavenly Father,
Search my heart and lead me into repentance that is living and real. Do not let confession remain only on my lips, but let it reshape my life. Turn my sorrow for sin into obedience, humility, and renewed devotion. May the fruit of repentance appear in my thoughts, my choices, and the way I treat others. Lord Jesus Christ, You restore what sin has withered. Be like the morning dew upon my soul—quietly renewing what has grown dry. Cause new life to appear where there was barrenness. Root me deeply in Your truth so that my faith grows steady and strong, like a cedar firmly planted and unmoved by passing storms. Holy Spirit, You have shown mercy when I was overwhelmed by sin. Continue Your gracious work within me. Cleanse my heart, strengthen my resolve, and shape my life so that Your righteous work becomes visible in me. Let repentance lead not to despair, but to renewal, gratitude, and faithful perseverance. Amen.
