DAILY BREAD — Strength in the Lord’s Power

ADVICE:
Be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. Ephesians 6:10

PROMISE:
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with My righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10

​PRAYER:
You are my strength, I watch for you; you, God, are my fortress. Psalm 59:9

Dear Heavenly Father,
Teach me the kind of strength that comes not from self-reliance but from union with You. Strip away the illusion that I can stand on my own, and anchor me in the sufficiency of Your power. When weakness exposes my limits, let it also drive me to rest more fully in Your promises.

Lord Jesus Christ,
In the face of fear and uncertainty, speak again Your word of assurance: “I am with you.” Uphold me by Your righteous hand. Let Your presence quiet my anxious thoughts and steady my steps. In You, strength is not strain but confidence in the One who holds all things together.

Holy Spirit,
be my watchtower and my fortress. Train my heart to look to You before all else. In every trial, fortify my faith, guard my mind, and give me courage to stand firm. Let me endure not by my own resolve, but by the sustaining power of God at work within me.
