DAILY BREAD — Holiness Formed by the Spirit

ADVICE:
Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect. Matthew 5:48

PROMISE:
I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them. I will deliver you from all your uncleannesses. Ezekiel 36:27–29

Dear Heavenly Father,
You call Your children to a holiness that reflects Your own perfect character. Left to myself I fall short, yet Your Word reminds me that this calling is not empty demand but a summons into the life You provide. Shape my heart according to Your righteousness. Refine my thoughts, words, and actions so that my life increasingly reflects the beauty of Your holiness.

Lord Jesus Christ,
You have fulfilled righteousness and opened the way for sinners to stand before the Father. Through Your redeeming work, the promise of new life has been secured. Cleanse me again from what is unclean and restore what sin has broken. Teach me to walk in grateful obedience, not to earn Your favor but because Your grace has already claimed me.

Holy Spirit,
You are the gift of the new covenant, dwelling within Your people and forming them into the likeness of Christ. Search my heart and reveal where repentance is needed. Forgive my sins, lift the burden of guilt, and renew my spirit so that I may walk in freedom, growing day by day in holiness and love.
