DAILY BREAD — Thirst for the Living God ADVICE: Let the one who is thirsty come; and let the one who wishes take the free gift of the water of life. — Revelation 22:17 PROMISE: Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled. — Matthew 5:6 PRAYER: As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for You, my God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. — Psalm 42:1–2 Father,
I come to You today thirsty—not for what fades, but for You, the living God. Like a deer that longs for streams of water, my soul pants for Your presence, and my heart says, “I need You.” Forgive me for the times I have tried to satisfy my thirst with lesser things. Create in me a deeper hunger and thirst for righteousness, and keep that desire alive within me. Lord Jesus Christ, I hear Your invitation: “Let the one who is thirsty come.” So I come now, just as I am, and I receive by faith Your free gift—the water of life. Wash me, renew me, and fill the empty places in my soul with Your grace and truth. Holy Spirit, Breathe fresh life into me. Stir my longing for God, strengthen my faith, and satisfy me with what is holy and good. Fill me until my thirst becomes worship, and my life becomes a witness. Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—my one God-- I trust Your promise: You will fill those who hunger and thirst for righteousness. Fill me now. Amen. I wish you a blessed day, With Love, Rev. Frank
