DAILY BREAD — Loving God with All Our Heart

ADVICE:
Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. — Deuteronomy 6:5

PROMISE:
The Lord your God will circumcise your hearts and the hearts of your descendants, so that you may love him with all your heart and with all your soul, and live. — Deuteronomy 30:6

​PRAYER:
May the Lord our God be with us as he was with our ancestors; may he never leave us nor forsake us. May he turn our hearts to him, to walk in obedience to him and keep the commands, decrees and laws he gave our ancestors. — 1 Kings 8:57–58

Heavenly Father,
We love You with all our heart, with all our soul, and with all our strength.
Thank You for Your promise to shape our hearts, to draw us closer to You,
so that our love for You may be true, deep, and life-giving.

Lord Jesus Christ,
Stay with us as You stayed with those before us.
Never leave us nor forsake us.
Turn our hearts toward You,
that we may walk in obedience, trust Your grace,
and follow You with willing and thankful spirits.

Holy Spirit,
Move within us and among us.
Soften our hearts, guide our steps,
and help us to live in faithful love and joyful obedience.

​We offer ourselves to You, O Triune God,
now and always.
