DAILY BREAD — Living in Peace and Holiness

ADVICE:
Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord. — Hebrews 12:14

PROMISE:
I will cleanse you from all your impurities and from all your idols. — Ezekiel 36:25

​PRAYER:
Keep your servant also from willful sins; may they not rule over me. — Psalm 19:13

Lord God,
You call me to make every effort to live in peace with everyone
and to walk in holiness before You.
I desire a heart that seeks reconciliation,
words that build rather than divide,
and a life that reflects Your presence.
Teach me to pursue peace without compromise
and holiness without pride.

Faithful God,
You promise to cleanse me from all my impurities
and from everything that competes for my heart.
Wash me thoroughly--
not only on the surface, but deep within.
Remove the idols I cling to unknowingly,
and restore in me a pure devotion to You alone.

Gracious Father,
keep me from willful sins.
Do not let them rule over me or shape my choices.
Give me discernment before temptation,
strength in moments of weakness,
and humility to return to You quickly when I stumble.

Lead me in freedom, integrity, and peace,
that my life may point others toward You
and that I may truly see You, walk with You,
and live for Your glory.
Amen.
