DAILY BREAD — Walking in God’s Holiness

ADVICE:
Be holy, because I am holy. — 1 Peter 1:16

PROMISE:
My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. — 2 Corinthians 12:9

​PRAYER:
Wash away all my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin. — Psalm 51:2

Holy God,
You call me to be holy because You are holy.
I hear Your invitation, and I long to live a life
that reflects Your purity, Your love, and Your truth.
I know I cannot reach this holiness on my own,
so I come before You in humility.

Lord, You promise that Your grace is sufficient for me.
When I feel weak, inadequate, or broken,
remind me that Your power is made perfect in my weakness.
Where I feel empty, fill me with Your strength.
Where I feel ashamed, cover me with Your mercy.

Create in me a clean heart, O God.
Wash away all my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin.
Renew my spirit, realign my desires,
and shape my life according to Your will.

I place myself fully in Your hands--
forgiven, restored, and strengthened by grace.
Make me holy, not by my effort,
but by Your faithful love working within me.
Amen.
