DAILY BREAD — Entrusting All Things to God

ADVICE:
So then, those who suffer according to God’s will should commit themselves to their faithful Creator and continue to do good. — 1 Peter 4:19

PROMISE:
I know whom I have believed, and am convinced that he is able to guard what I have entrusted to him until that day. — 2 Timothy 1:12

Father, into your hands I commit my spirit. — Luke 23:46

Faithful and loving God,
when I suffer according to Your will,
I choose to place my life back into Your hands.
You are my Creator—steadfast and true--
and I commit myself to You, trusting in Your care.

Lord Jesus Christ,
I know whom I have believed,
and I am convinced that You are able
to guard all that I have entrusted to You.
What I cannot hold together, You hold securely,
now and until that final day.

Holy Spirit,
give me the strength to continue to do good,
even when my heart is weary and the path is hard.
Anchor my faith, guide my choices,
and help me remain faithful in love and obedience.

​Father, into Your hands I commit my spirit--
my fears, my hopes, my suffering, and my future.
I rest in You, confident that I am never outside Your care.
Amen.
