DAILY BREAD — The God Who Watches

ADVICE: Consider what God has done. — Ecclesiastes 7:13

PROMISE: Indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.
The Lord watches over you. — Psalm 121:4–5

PRAYER: I keep my eyes always on the Lord. With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken. — Psalm 16:8

​Faithful Father,
I pause to consider what You have done.
When I look back on my life, I see Your wisdom at work even in the things I did not understand at the time.
Teach me to trust Your ways, to receive what You allow, and to walk forward with reverence and gratitude for Your sovereign care.

​Lord Jesus Christ,
You are my constant companion and protector.
You watch over me without ceasing; You never grow tired, never turn away, never sleep.
In every moment—day or night—you stand guard over my life.
With You at my right hand, I will not be shaken, no matter what comes against me.
​
Holy Spirit,
Lift my eyes to the Lord and keep them fixed there.
When fear or distraction tries to pull me away, gently draw me back into trust and confidence.
Root me in faith, steady my heart, and help me live each day aware of God’s faithful presence.
