DAILY BREAD — Standing Firm in the Lord

ADVICE:
Stand firm. Let nothing move you. 1 Corinthians 15:58

PROMISE:
‘I am with you,’ declares the Lord Almighty. Haggai 2:4

Be good to your servant while I live, that I may obey your word. Psalm 119:17

Heavenly Father,
I surrender my defenses, my fears, and the excuses I have used to justify inaction. Cleanse my heart of past failures and wrong expectations, and fill me with thoughts, desires, and actions that honor You. Help me exchange old disappointments for Your divine opportunities, trusting that my life, my relationships, and all I possess belong to You.

Lord Jesus Christ,
set my feet on the path of righteousness. Grant wisdom and discernment so that each choice I make reflects Your glory. Help me to see others as You do—precious, beloved, and worthy of love. Restore and renew the gifts You have given me, that I may be a blessing to those around me.

Holy Spirit,
empower me to stand firm, unwavering in faith, and confident in Your presence. Strengthen my heart to persevere, and guide me to live each day fully for Christ’s purposes.

We commit ourselves to You—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit--
trusting in Your steadfast love and guidance.
