DAILY BREAD — Walking in Wisdom

ADVICE:
Get wisdom, get understanding; do not forget my words or turn away from them.
— Proverbs 4:5

PROMISE:
Blessed are those who have learned to acclaim You, who walk in the light of Your presence, Lord.
— Psalm 89:15

​PRAYER:
Give me wisdom and knowledge.
— 2 Chronicles 1:10

Heavenly Father,
Your Word calls me to “get wisdom and get understanding; do not forget My words or turn away from them.” Father, give me a heart that treasures Your Word and seeks Your wisdom above all earthly things. Guard me from distraction and help me remain faithful to Your truth. I hold onto Your promise that “blessed are those who have learned to acclaim You, who walk in the light of Your presence.” Teach me to walk in that light every moment of my day.

Lord Jesus Christ,
You are the wisdom of God made flesh. Guide me in Your truth, shape my understanding, and lead me in paths of righteousness. Let Your presence be the light that illuminates my decisions, my relationships, and my calling. Draw me deeper into the wisdom that flows from Your life and teachings.

Holy Spirit,
I pray the simple yet powerful request of Scripture: “Give me wisdom and knowledge.” Fill my mind with clarity, insight, and understanding. Help me discern what is right, choose what is good, and honour God with every thought and action. Let Your wisdom bear lasting fruit in my life.

Father, Son, and Holy Spirit,
Grant me wisdom, guide my steps, and keep me walking in the light of Your presence.
Amen.
