DAILY BREAD — Turning Toward Cleansing ADVICE: Everyone who confesses the name of the Lord must turn away from wickedness. — 2 Timothy 2:19 PROMISE: I will cleanse them from all their sin. — Jeremiah 33:8 PRAYER: Then I acknowledged my sin to You and did not cover up my iniquity. I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord.” And You forgave the guilt of my sin. — Psalm 32:5 Gracious God,
I confess Your holy name, and with that confession comes a turning of my life. You do not invite me to hide or pretend, but to step into Your light with honesty. You know my heart and You see my struggles, yet You call me to lay them down rather than carry them in silence. I bring before You every burden, every failure, every place where I have resisted Your holiness. Lord Jesus Christ, I come to You with an unguarded heart. I do not excuse my sin or conceal my iniquity; I confess my transgressions to the Lord and trust Your mercy to be greater than my guilt. Thank You that forgiveness is not hesitant or partial, but complete. Help me not only to receive grace, but to walk away from wickedness and follow You in obedience shaped by love. Holy Spirit, Cleanse me as You have promised. Wash me thoroughly, renew my heart, and strengthen my desire to live a life set apart for God. Guard my thoughts, guide my steps, and train my will toward holiness. Let the freedom of forgiveness become the ground on which new life grows. To You, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, be glory, honor, and praise, now and always. Amen. I wish you a blessed day, With Love, Rev. Frank
