DAILY BREAD — Seeking While Near ADVICE: Seek the Lord while He may be found; call on Him while He is near. — Isaiah 55:6 PROMISE: I have not said to Jacob’s descendants, “Seek Me in vain.” — Isaiah 45:19 PRAYER: Have mercy on me, O God, according to Your unfailing love; according to Your great compassion blot out my transgressions. — Psalm 51:1 Gracious God,
I seek You while You are near, trusting that Your invitation is genuine and Your presence real. I do not come relying on my own strength or clarity, but with a heart that longs for truth, mercy, and nearness to You. You have not called Your people to seek You in vain, and so I rest in the assurance that every sincere turning toward You is met with faithfulness and grace. Lord Jesus Christ, I come to You in humility, aware of my need for mercy. According to Your unfailing love and great compassion, forgive me and make me clean. Draw me closer, not merely to relief from guilt, but into a renewed life shaped by Your forgiveness. Teach me to walk in the light of Your peace, formed by grace rather than fear. Holy Spirit, Search my heart and lead me into honest repentance and deeper trust. Shape my desires so that seeking the Lord becomes the steady direction of my life, not a passing impulse. Restore my joy, quiet my restlessness, and guide me into the freedom of a heart made new. To You, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, be all glory, now and forever. Amen. I wish you a blessed day, With Love, Rev. Frank
