DAILY BREAD — Seeking the Lord While He Is Near

ADVICE:
Seek the Lord while he may be found; call on him while he is near. Isaiah 55:6

PROMISE:
I have not said to Jacob’s descendants, ‘Seek me in vain.’ Isaiah 45:19

PRAYER:
Have mercy on me, O God, according to your unfailing love; according to your great compassion blot out my transgressions. Psalm 51:1​

Heavenly Father,
grant me the grace to seek You earnestly, knowing that You are near and attentive to my heart. Remove the hardness within me, and kindle in me the fire of Your Holy Spirit. May my soul delight in Your presence, respond to Your voice, and pursue You above all else.
Lord Jesus Christ,
transform my heart of stone into a heart of flesh, receptive to Your love and mercy. Teach me to adore You fully, to follow You joyfully, and to find my satisfaction and delight in Your ways.
Holy Spirit,
dwell within me, purify my thoughts, and guide me into deeper communion with God. Let my life reflect the love and grace that flow from the Father through Christ, now and forever.
We trust in Your mercy—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit--
and lift our hearts to You in hope and devotion.
