DAILY BREAD — Waiting on the Lord with Strength

ADVICE:
Wait for the Lord; be strong, take heart, and wait for the Lord. Psalm 27:14

PROMISE:
But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:31

​PRAYER:
In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly. Psalm 5:3

Heavenly Father,
teach me to wait on You with patience and courage. Help me to take heart in Your promises, even when the path is uncertain or uncomfortable. Strengthen my faith as I place my hope fully in You, trusting that You will guide each step and renew my strength for the journey.

Lord Jesus Christ,
You are my companion and guide. As I step in new directions, often beyond my comfort, grant me wisdom, confidence, and courage. May I hear Your voice clearly at every junction, responding with trust and obedience.

Holy Spirit,
empower me in my weakness, steady my heart, and sustain me in faith. Teach me to rejoice in Your leading, to rely on Your strength, and to walk steadfastly in the paths You lay before me.

We place our hope and trust in You—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit--
now and always.
Amen.
