DAILY BREAD — Asking in Trust ADVICE: Ask and it will be given to you. — Matthew 7:7 PROMISE: Very truly, I tell you, my Father will give you whatever you ask in my name. — John 16:23 PRAYER: Lord, increase my faith! — Luke 17:5 Gracious God,
I come before You with an open and trusting heart. You invite me to ask, to seek, and to knock—not as a test of persistence, but as an act of relationship. I bring before You my needs, my hopes, and my longings, placing them into Your hands with confidence in Your wisdom rather than my own understanding. Teach me to ask not as a consumer of blessings, but as a child who trusts the Father’s care. Lord Jesus Christ, You assure me that whatever I ask in Your name, the Father will give. Shape my desires so that what I ask reflects Your will, Your character, and Your kingdom. Guard me from treating prayer as a transaction, and form in me a deeper dependence on grace rather than outcomes. Let my asking be grounded in humility, obedience, and trust that You are already at work for my good. Holy Spirit, Increase my faith. Strengthen my trust when doubt creeps in, and steady my heart when answers seem delayed or unclear. Draw me into deeper confidence in God’s promises, forming a faith that rests not on sight, but on truth. Let my life bear witness to a quiet, resilient trust shaped by Your presence. To You, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, Be all glory and praise. Amen. I wish you a blessed day, With Love, Rev. Frank
