DAILY BREAD — Dying to the Old, Living for God ADVICE: Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature. — Colossians 3:5 PROMISE: For if you live according to the flesh, you will die. — Romans 8:13 PRAYER: Help us, God our Saviour, for the glory of your name; deliver us and forgive our sins for your name’s sake. — Psalm 79:9 Gracious God,
I come before You with a humble heart, longing to live in a way that honours Your holy name. You call me to put to death what belongs to my earthly nature, not to condemn me, but to set me free. In Your mercy, forgive my sins, deliver me from all that binds and harms me, and renew me for the glory of Your name. Hold me close in Your faithful love and surround me with Your comforting presence. Lord Jesus Christ, You know my weakness, my struggles, and my deep desire for new life. Through Your cross and resurrection, You have broken the power of sin and opened the way to true freedom. Walk with me in my daily battles, strengthen me when I feel weary, and remind me that Your grace is enough for me. Teach me to choose life, to cling to You, and to rest in Your redeeming love. Holy Spirit, Breathe Your life into me anew. Empower me to turn away from what leads to death and to live by Your holy leading. Comfort me, uphold me, and gently shape my heart to reflect Christ. Fill me with faith, peace, and hope, that I may walk forward supported by Your presence and transformed by Your love. To You, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, Be all glory and praise. Amen. I wish you a blessed day, With Love, Rev. Frank
