DAILY BREAD — Awakened by Christ’s Light

ADVICE:
“Wake up, sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.” Ephesians 5:14

PROMISE:
He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn, your vindication like the noonday sun. Psalm 37:6

I call to You, Lord, every day; I spread out my hands to You. Psalm 88:9

Heavenly Father,
awaken us from every place of weariness and shadow.
We call to You each day,
stretching out our hands and our hearts before You,
trusting that You see us and hear our cry.

Lord Jesus Christ,
You call us to rise and to live.
Shine Your light upon us--
into what feels lifeless, heavy, or hidden.
Let Your presence awaken hope,
and let our lives reflect the light You give.

Holy Spirit,
move within us with gentle power.
Lift us into new strength and clarity,
and help us walk in righteousness.
Make what is right in us shine like the dawn,
and our vindication like the brightness of midday.

We rise in faith,
trusting You—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit--
to bring light where we once knew darkness.
Amen.
