DAILY BREAD — Walking Wisely and Securely

ADVICE:
Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise. Ephesians 5:15

PROMISE:
I will strengthen them in the Lord and in his name they will live securely,” declares the Lord. Zechariah 10:12

​PRAYER:
And lead us not into temptation. Matthew 6:13

Gracious Father, I lift my heart to Your throne of grace, seeking wisdom for the path before me. Teach me to walk carefully and thoughtfully, redeeming the time and living in a manner that reflects Your truth. Guard my steps from temptation and from careless living, and anchor my choices in reverent obedience.

Lord Jesus Christ, strengthen me in Your name so that I may live securely—not in self-confidence, but in the shelter of Your covenant faithfulness. Let Your peace govern my heart, and make me a source of joy and encouragement to those I love.

Holy Spirit, inspire my thoughts, purify my motives, and guide my aspirations so that they serve Your purposes. May wisdom shape my conduct, and may Your presence steady me in every circumstance.

In Jesus’ precious Name, I pray. Amen.
