DAILY BREAD — Fearless in Suffering, Secure in Love ADVICE: Do not be afraid of what you are about to suffer. Revelation 2:10 PROMISE: The one the Lord loves rests between His shoulders. Deuteronomy 33:12 PRAYER: You are my hiding place; You will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance. Psalm 32:7 Almighty God, Heavenly Father,
When fear begins to rise at the thought of suffering, remind me that Your command not to fear is grounded in Your sovereign love. You do not deny the reality of trial, but You promise Your nearness within it. Teach my heart to rest between Your shoulders—secure, upheld, and cherished by covenant mercy. Lord Jesus Christ, You have walked the path of suffering before me. You were faithful unto death, and now You reign in glory. Strengthen me to endure with steadfast hope, knowing that tribulation cannot sever me from Your love. Let courage grow not from denial of pain, but from union with You who overcame the world. Holy Spirit, be my hiding place in every storm. Guard my mind with peace that surpasses understanding. Surround me with the quiet music of deliverance—the assurance that I am kept by grace and destined for glory. Shape in me a confidence that rests not in circumstances, but in the faithful character of God. Amen.
