DAILY BREAD -- Thanksgiving, Abundance, and the Shepherd’s Light

ADVICE:
Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. — Psalm 100:4

PROMISE:
They feast on the abundance of your house; you give them drink from your river of delights. For with you is the fountain of life; in your light we see light. — Psalm 36:8–9

PRAYER:
Hear us, Shepherd of Israel, you who lead Joseph like a flock.
You who sit enthroned between the cherubim, shine forth. — Psalm 80:1

Almighty God, Heavenly Father,
I come into Your presence with thanksgiving and praise. I thank You for Your goodness, Your faithfulness, and the abundance of Your house. In Your light I see light, and from You flows the fountain of life that refreshes my soul. I lift my heart in gratitude, trusting in Your care and generosity.


My dear Lord Jesus Christ,
You are the Good Shepherd who leads Your people with love and compassion. Hear my prayer, guide my steps, and nourish me with the life You freely give. Let me feast on the grace of Your presence and walk in the joy of following You.


Holy Spirit,
shine forth in my life. Draw me deeper into praise, fill me with thanksgiving, and awaken my heart to God’s delight and truth. Lead me daily in light, life, and worship. Amen.
