DAILY BREAD — Blessing in the Midst of Persecution ADVICE: Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. Romans 12:14 PROMISE: Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you. Matthew 5:11-12 PRAYER: I am being threatened; Lord, come to my aid! Isaiah 38:14 Almighty God, Heavenly Father,
When my heart feels wounded and pressed on every side, You call me not to retaliation, but to blessing. This command exposes my weakness and drives me to Your grace. When I feel threatened, I cry out to You—be my refuge and defender. Guard me from the reflex of bitterness, and anchor me in the security of Your sovereign care. Lord Jesus Christ, You endured scorn, false accusation, and the cross itself, yet You entrusted Yourself to the Father who judges justly. Teach me to follow in Your steps. Fix my eyes on the reward that is kept in heaven and the fellowship I share with prophets and saints who suffered for Your name. Let hardship press me deeper into union with You. Holy Spirit, produce in me the fruit that cannot grow from natural strength—patience, gentleness, self-control, and persevering love. Enable me to bless and not curse, to pray and not resent, to stand firm without losing tenderness of heart. Make my response to persecution a testimony to the transforming power of Christ. Amen. I wish you a blessed day, With Love, Rev. Frank
