DAILY BREAD — Serving One Another

ADVICE:
Do not look to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others. In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus. Philippians 2:4–5

PROMISE:
Truly I tell you, anyone who gives you a cup of water in My name because you belong to the Messiah will certainly not lose their reward. Mark 9:41

PRAYER:
May Your hand be ready to help me, for I have chosen Your precepts. Psalm 119:173

Heavenly Father,
lift our eyes beyond ourselves.
Teach us not to seek only our own interests,
but to care deeply for the needs of others.
Let Your hand be ready to help us,
for we choose Your ways and Your precepts.

Lord Jesus Christ,
You showed us the true way of love and humility.
Form in us Your mindset--
a heart that serves, gives, and loves without counting the cost.
Help us remember that even the smallest act done in Your name
is seen and treasured by You.

Holy Spirit,
guide our relationships and shape our intentions.
Strengthen us to live generously,
to offer kindness freely,
and to walk each day in obedience and grace.

We trust You—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit--
to lead us in love and faithful service.
