DAILY BREAD — Gracious Words, Guarded Lips ADVICE: Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone. Colossians 4:6 PROMISE: The wise in heart are called discerning, and gracious words promote instruction. Proverbs 16:21 PRAYER: Set a guard over my mouth, Lord; keep watch over the door of my lips. Psalm 141:3 Almighty God, Heavenly Father,
I come before You asking that my words may reflect Your grace. Teach me to speak with kindness, wisdom, and truth. Let my conversation be seasoned with grace, so that I may know how to answer everyone in a way that honors You. Set a guard over my mouth, O Lord, and keep watch over the door of my lips, that nothing careless or harmful may come from me. My dear Lord Jesus Christ, You are the Living Word. Shape my speech after Your example-- gentle with the broken, firm in truth, and always filled with love. May my words bring light and encouragement wherever I go. Holy Spirit, give me discernment and self-control. Make my heart wise and my speech gracious, so that through my words others may learn, grow, and see Your goodness. Amen. Have a blessed day, With Love, Rev. Frank
