DAILY BREAD — Wisdom to Resist and Walk the Straight Path

ADVICE:
My son, if sinful men entice you, do not give in to them. Proverbs 1:10

PROMISE:
If you lack wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. James 1:5

​PRAYER:
Teach me Your way, Lord; lead me on a straight path because of my oppressors. Psalm 27:11

Almighty God, dear Heavenly Father,
I come before You seeking wisdom and strength.
When sinful voices try to entice me, guard my heart and help me not to give in.
You promise to give wisdom generously to those who ask,
and today I ask You to fill my mind with Your truth and my heart with discernment.
Teach me Your way, O Lord,
and lead me on a straight path when pressures and temptations surround me.

My dear Lord Jesus Christ,
You are the Way, the Truth, and the Life.
Walk beside me when I feel uncertain,
and help me choose what is right, even when it is difficult.
Let Your example guide my decisions
and shape my character.

Holy Spirit,
grant me clarity, courage, and self-control.
Whisper truth into my thoughts,
strengthen my resolve,
and keep my steps steady on God’s righteous path.
Amen.
