DAILY BREAD — Learning Righteousness by the Lord’s Teaching

ADVICE:
Learn to do right. Isaiah 1:17

PROMISE:
All your children will be taught by the Lord, and great will be their peace. Isaiah 54:13

Loving God,
You do not leave Your people to guess at righteousness—you teach them. Incline my heart to be a learner, ready to be corrected and formed by Your Word. Let my pursuit of “doing right” be grounded in what You have revealed, not in shifting standards. Shape my intentions, habits, and goals so they accord with Your wisdom and serve the good of others.

Lord Jesus Christ,
You are the Teacher who embodies the law in perfect love. Form in me a life that reflects Your obedience—steady, practical, and faithful to the end. As I set my plans, order them under Your lordship, so that what I aim at is what You desire. Let my work become a means of blessing, and my conduct a witness to Your grace.

Holy Spirit,
write Your instruction upon my heart. Give clarity where I am uncertain, conviction where I am wavering, and perseverance to follow through. As You teach, grant the peace You promise—the settled assurance that comes from walking in Your ways.
