DAILY BREAD — Walk in Wisdom

ADVICE:
Do not set foot on the path of the wicked or walk in the way of evildoers. Proverbs 4:14

PROMISE:
Walk with the wise and become wise, for a companion of fools suffers harm. Proverbs 13:20

PRAYER:
With Your sword rescue me from the wicked. By Your hand save me from such people, Lord, from those of this world whose reward is in this life. Psalm 17:13–14

Heavenly Father,
guard our steps and our decisions.
Keep us from setting foot on paths that lead away from Your truth,
and give us discernment to choose what is right, even when it is hard.
Lord Jesus Christ,
You are the way, the truth, and the life.
Teach us to walk with the wise,
to seek companions who draw us closer to You
and shape our lives with integrity, humility, and love.
Holy Spirit,
stand with us in moments of temptation and confusion.
By Your power, rescue us from what seeks to harm us,
from values that promise reward but leave the soul empty.
Guide us beyond what is temporary
and anchor our hearts in what is eternal.
We trust You—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit--
to lead us in wisdom and keep us in Your care.
