DAILY BREAD — Bearing with One Another in Love ADVICE: Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. — Ephesians 4:2 PROMISE: When people are brought low and you say, “Lift them up!” then he will save the downcast. — Job 22:29 PRAYER: For troubles without number surround me; my sins have overtaken me, and I cannot see. They are more than the hairs of my head, and my heart fails within me. Be pleased to save me, Lord; come quickly, Lord, to help me. — Psalm 40:12–13 Merciful and Compassionate God,
Your Word calls us to “be completely humble and gentle, patient, bearing with one another in love.” Lord, shape our hearts so that humility becomes our strength, gentleness our language, patience our habit, and love our daily offering to those around us. We thank You for Your promise that when people are brought low and discouraged, and we cry out, “Lift them up,” You respond with saving grace. Today, we lift before You all who feel downcast — restore them, strengthen them, and surround them with Your comfort. And Lord, like the psalmist, we confess that troubles too many to count sometimes overwhelm us. At times our hearts fail within us, and we feel unable to see clearly. But You are our help and our salvation. So we pray: Be pleased to save us, O Lord; come quickly to help us. Fill us with Your peace, hold us by Your hand, and guide us into hope once more. We ask all this in the precious name of Jesus. Amen. I wish you a blessed day, With Love, Rev. Frank
