DAILY BREAD — Understanding the Lord’s Will

ADVICE:
Therefore do not be foolish,
but understand what the Lord’s will is.
— Ephesians 5:17

PROMISE:
It is written in the Prophets:
“They will all be taught by God.”
— John 6:45a

​PRAYER:
Teach me, Lord, Your decrees.
— Psalm 119:26b

Gracious Lord,
Your Word reminds us, “Do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is.”
So today, Father, teach us Your ways.
As You promised, “They will all be taught by God,”
let Your Spirit open our hearts to Your wisdom.

Like the psalmist we pray,
“Teach me, Lord, Your decrees.”
Shape our thoughts, guide our steps,
and make Your will clear before us.
Lord Jesus, this day belongs to You.
Whatever comes our way, hold our hand, walk beside us,
and let us face everything together.
May Your will be done in us, through us, and around us—today and always. Amen.
