DAILY BREAD — Holding Fast with Hope ADVICE: I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown. — Revelation 3:11 PROMISE: The one who is victorious I will make a pillar in the temple of my God. Never again will they leave it. I will write on them the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which is coming down out of heaven from my God; and I will also write on them my new name. — Revelation 3:12 PRAYER: My steps have held to your paths; my feet have not stumbled. — Psalm 17:5 Thank You, Lord, for the year that is now passing. I look back not with fear or regret, but with gratitude—because through every season, You have remained faithful. Nothing has been able to separate me from Your love. Even when I failed or fell short, You met me with mercy, reminding me that Your compassion is renewed each morning. That quiet persistence of grace continues to astonish me.
Thank You for walking with me through every step of this year—both the steady ones and the uncertain ones. As a new year opens before me, I ask that You would continue to walk beside me with the same gentle faithfulness. Help me to hold fast to what You have already given: faith, hope, and trust rooted in You alone. Let my steps remain steady on Your paths, not because I am strong, but because You are near. I enter the new year not grasping for what I lack, but holding firmly to what I have received—Your love, Your promise, and Your presence. May that be enough, today and always. In Jesus’ Name, Amen. I wish you a blessed day and a Happy New Year, With Love, Rev. Frank
