DAILY BREAD — Patience, Protection, and Hope
ADVICE:
Be patient, then, brothers and sisters, until the Lord’s coming. See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop, patiently waiting for the autumn and spring rains. You, too, be patient and stand firm, because the Lord’s coming is near.

PRAYER:
Hear my prayer, LORD, listen to my cry for help; do not be deaf to my weeping. I dwell with You as a foreigner, a stranger, as all my ancestors were.

Heavenly Father,
Your Word calls me to “be patient until the Lord’s coming,” just as the farmer patiently waits for the rains and the harvest. Father, teach me holy patience. Help me stand firm in faith, trusting that “the Lord’s coming is near.” I hold onto Your promise that “the LORD watches over you—the LORD is your shade at your right hand.” Thank You for Your constant protection, Your watchful care, and Your comforting presence beside me.

Lord Jesus Christ,
You are my hope, my strength, and the One I eagerly await. Make my heart steady and expectant. When trials stretch my patience, remind me that You are near. When weariness comes, refresh me with Your peace. Keep me faithful as I look toward the day of Your return in glory.

Holy Spirit,
I pray with the psalmist: “Hear my prayer, LORD… listen to my cry for help; do not be deaf to my weeping.” Holy Spirit, carry my prayers to the Father. Comfort my heart in times of sorrow and remind me that I am a pilgrim in this world, a stranger journeying toward my eternal home. Strengthen me to live patiently, humbly, and faithfully while I wait.

Father, Son, and Holy Spirit,
Fill me with patience, protect me with Your presence, and keep me firm until the day of Christ.
