DAILY BREAD — United in Christ

ADVICE:
I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another in what you say and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in mind and thought.

PROMISE:
Therefore, you do not lack any spiritual gift as you eagerly wait for our Lord Jesus Christ to be revealed. He will also keep you firm to the end, so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.

With this in mind, we constantly pray for you, that our God may make you worthy of His calling, and that by His power He may bring to fruition your every desire for goodness and your every deed prompted by faith. We pray this so that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and you in Him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Heavenly Father,
Your Word urges us, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, to agree with one another, to put away division, and to be perfectly united in mind and thought. Father, bring unity to my heart, my relationships, my family, and our congregation. I hold firmly to Your promise that we do not lack any spiritual gift as we eagerly wait for Christ to be revealed, and that You will keep us firm to the end, blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. Strengthen me with the gifts You have given and keep me steadfast in faith.

Lord Jesus Christ,
You are the One who unites, the One who holds Your church together. Make me an instrument of peace and unity. Shape my mind and thoughts so they reflect Your humility and Your love. Keep me firm in faith until the day You are revealed in glory. May my life honour You in every word and action.

Holy Spirit,
I pray with Scripture that God may make me worthy of His calling, and by His power bring to fruition every desire for goodness and every deed prompted by faith. Empower me to do what is good, holy, and pleasing to God. Let every desire rooted in Your grace bear fruit, and let every step of faith bring glory to Jesus Christ.

Father, Son, and Holy Spirit,
Be glorified in me, and keep me faithful, united, and strong in Your grace.
