DAILY BREAD — Held Together by Hope ADVICE: I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another in what you say and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in mind and thought. — 1 Corinthians 1:10 PROMISE: Therefore, you do not lack any spiritual gift as you eagerly wait for our Lord Jesus Christ to be revealed. He will also keep you firm to the end, so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. — 1 Corinthians 1:7–8 PRAYER: With this in mind, we constantly pray for you, that our God may make you worthy of his calling, and that by his power he may bring to fruition your every desire for goodness and your every deed prompted by faith. We pray this so that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and you in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ. — 2 Thessalonians 1:11–12 Lord, help me hear You saying, “I am your hope,” above every other voice that competes for my attention. You are the hope of the hopeless, and so I come running to You, hands open, clinging to You alone. Fill me with hope—not a vague feeling, but a living certainty. Give me a tangible reminder today that hope in You is an unbreakable spiritual lifeline, firm and secure.
You know the hopes I barely dare to name—the ones I carry quietly in my heart. Today I place them into Your hands. I trust them to You, because I know You are able to do far more than I could ever ask, imagine, or dream. Shape my hopes according to Your wisdom, strengthen my faith to wait, and keep my heart anchored in You. You are my hope, O God, and I place my trust in You alone. Amen. I wish you a blessed day, With Love, Rev. Frank
