DAILY BREAD — Reverence and the Power of the Gospel

ADVICE:
You who fear the Lord, praise Him!
All you descendants of Jacob, honour Him!
Revere Him, all you descendants of Israel!

that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew,
then to the Gentile.

human beings that You care for them?

Heavenly Father,
Your Word calls all who fear You to praise, honour, and revere Your holy name. Father, I lift my voice in reverence, joining the generations who worship You. I thank You for the powerful truth of the gospel—Your saving work made available to all who believe. May my life never be ashamed of this good news, but boldly reflect Your grace and truth.

Lord Jesus Christ,
You are the heart of the gospel—our salvation, our hope, and our Redeemer. Strengthen me to live with courage and faith, proclaiming Your name through my words and actions. Let the power of Your cross be evident in my life, drawing others to the salvation You freely give.

Holy Spirit,
Humble my heart with awe and gratitude. As the psalmist asks, “What is mankind that You are mindful of them?”—remind me of the wonder of being known and loved by God. Deepen my reverence, renew my worship, and empower me to live faithfully for Your glory.

Father, Son, and Holy Spirit,
Receive my praise, my honour, and my reverence—today and always.
