DAILY BREAD — Trust in the Lord With All Your Heart

ADVICE:
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;

For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.
— Proverbs 2:6

Gracious and All-Knowing God,
Your Word calls me to “trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.” Lord, teach me to surrender my worries, my plans, and my limited perspective into Your loving hands. Help me trust You fully — not halfway, not hesitantly — but with my whole heart.

I hold onto Your promise that “the LORD gives wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding.” Father, speak wisdom into my mind today. Guide my decisions, shape my thoughts, and grant me clarity where I feel uncertain. Let Your wisdom be the light that directs my steps.

And I pray with the psalmist: “Hear my prayer, O God; listen to the words of my mouth.” Lord, hear me as I call to You. Receive my fears, my hopes, my desires, and my praise. Bend Your ear toward me and fill my heart with Your peace.

Lead me in Your truth, surround me with Your presence, and strengthen my trust in You today and always.
