DAILY BREAD — A Life Worthy of the Gospel

ADVICE:
Conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ. Philippians 1:27

PROMISE:
Those who sacrifice thank offerings honor Me, and to the blameless I will show My salvation. Psalm 50:23

Direct my footsteps according to Your word; let no sin rule over me. Psalm 119:133

Dear Heavenly Father,
Order my whole life by the worth of the gospel I confess. Let my conduct correspond to the grace I have received—not as a means to earn it, but as its proper fruit. Guard the integrity of my witness in what is seen and unseen. Where there is inconsistency, bring correction; where there is weakness, supply strength. Make my life a coherent testimony to Your saving work.

Lord Jesus Christ,
You are the gospel I am called to adorn. Form in me a gratitude that is not merely spoken but lived. Let thanksgiving become a continual offering, shaping my responses, my relationships, and my priorities. Keep me from separating confession from conduct; let obedience arise as the fitting echo of Your redeeming grace.

Holy Spirit,
direct my steps with precision according to Your Word. Do not allow sin to take dominion, but subdue it by Your sanctifying power. In moments of testing, incline my will toward righteousness and steady my heart in faithfulness. Lead me forward in a path that increasingly reflects the holiness of Christ.

“Only let your manner of life be worthy of the gospel of Christ… standing firm in one spirit, with one mind striving side by side for the faith of the gospel.” (Philippians 1:27)
