DAILY BREAD — Delight in God Over the World​

ADVICE:       
Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them.
1 John 2:15

PROMISE:    
And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or fields for My sake will receive a hundred times as much and will inherit eternal life.

Direct me in the path of Your commands, for there I find delight.
Psalm 119:35

Dear Heavenly Father,
Guard my heart from loving what is temporary more than what is eternal. Help me recognize when worldly desires compete with my devotion to You. Purify my affections so that my greatest love remains fixed on You alone.

Lord Jesus Christ,
You promise that whatever is surrendered for Your sake will not be lost. Strengthen me to release what hinders my faith. Remind me that eternal life and lasting reward far outweigh any earthly attachment.

Precious Holy Spirit,
Direct me in the path of Your commands, for there I find delight. Shape my desires so that obedience becomes my joy. Lead me steadily in truth, and anchor my heart in what truly matters.
