DAILY BREAD — Hidden in God’s Refuge ADVICE: Go, my people, enter your rooms and shut the doors behind you; hide yourselves for a little while until His wrath has passed by. Isaiah 26:20 PROMISE: He will call on Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him and show him My salvation. Psalm 91:15–16 PRAYER: For Your name’s sake, Lord, preserve my life; in Your righteousness, bring me out of trouble. Psalm 143:11 Dear Heavenly Father,
Teach me the quiet strength of taking refuge in You. When life feels overwhelming, draw me away from fear, noise, and striving, into the stillness of Your presence. Help me understand that hiding in You is not retreat, but trust—an act of faith that You are my true shelter. Lord Jesus Christ, Thank You that You hear me when I call. In every trouble, be near to me. When pressures rise and I feel surrounded, remind me that You are my deliverer. Let my confidence rest not in escape from difficulty, but in Your faithful presence within it. Precious Holy Spirit, For the sake of Your holy name, preserve my life and guide me through every trial. When I cannot see the way forward, lead me step by step in righteousness. Guard my heart with peace, strengthen my spirit with hope, and bring me safely through each storm into the assurance of Your salvation. “You are my hiding place; You will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance.” (Psalm 32:7) Amen.
