Forest Hill Breakfast Club

The church hosts and leads a breakfast program as part of Nutrition for Learning for children who go to Forest Hill Public School, four days a week from October to May. Contact the church office if you are interested in volunteering.

Al-Anon Family Group

The Fifth Tradition Al-Anon Family group meets at Calvin Presbyterian Church every Thursday evening at 8:00 p.m. The primary purpose is to help friends and relatives who are affected by someone's problem drinking. Al-Anon members are all kinds of people from all walks of life meeting together to share their experience, strength, and hope in order to solve common problems. T'ai Chi and Qigong

T'ai Chi is a therapeutic martial art that has been taught at Calvin Presbyterian Church since 1996. The name of the T'ai chi club is "Cold Mountain Internal Arts" and the chief instructor is Steve Higgins. Lessons include the classical curriculum of the art, including Qigong ("Chee Gung") - energy meditations for health and longevity. Classes are held on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Canadian Blood Services

Canadian Blood Services has blood donor clinics at Calvin bimonthly. They are held on a Monday 1:30-8:00 p.m. Dates of 2011 Clinics - February 14, April 18, June 13, August 15, October 17, and December 12. Your donation has the power to save up to three lives. That’s the beauty of giving blood!

The K-W Singers

The K-W singers are a mixed-voice choir of 30-35 voices. They sing a repertoire from the 1500's to the 2000's. Rehearsal is every Monday night from 7:30-9:30 during the months from September-April at Calvin Presbyterian Church. They perform two concerts a year with additional mini performances in selected nursing and retirement homes. Enthusiastic singers of all ages and experience are welcome. SoccerTots

SoccerTots is a child development program for kids ages 18 months to 4 ½  years old. It uses a variety of fun games to delight and engage kids in physical activity. The curriculum is professionally designed to develop motor skills, promote physical fitness, and create self-confidence. Fall session starts in October, 2011.
